With
over 10 years of engineering experience in China, Sam was involved
in developing a program for digital signal processing for acoustical
waves. This included acoustical measurement, analysis, and design.
Since joining Valcoustics Canada Ltd. in 2003, Mr. Du has been involved
in a number of environmental noise and vibration studies to determine
the impact of air, road and rail transportation and stationary sources,
as well as the selection of noise mitigation measures, including
sound barriers, architectural elements and operation techniques.
He has also been involved in the acoustical design of numerous architectural
acoustics projects. Mr. Du is a member of the Canadian Acoustical
Association and is registered in the PEO’s Engineering Intern Training
(EIT) program.
