The Canadian Motor Speedway is a proposed $150 million racetrack development situated on 332 hectares of land strategically located in central Fort Erie and adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Way, one of Canada’s most heavily traveled highways. The proposal includes recreational, commercial, industrial and educational uses. VCL completed a peer review of the noise study on behalf of the Region of Niagara. The peer review process included extensive meetings with the proponent’s consultants to ensure appropriate noise mitigation was incorporated into the facility design.
