Valcoustics has acted as consultant to Redpath on matters of environmental noise from 1995 to present, with respect to addressing noise impact on future, neighbouring sensitive land use as part of Toronto waterfront redevelopment. Noise sources include large trucks, industrial processes, railway service (now terminated), ocean-going ships, unloading of ships with cranes. Our regular work includes sound measurements, acoustic modelling and peer review of reports by developers’ consultants.
