Valcoustics was hired by the City of Kingston to review the overall acoustical design of the facility including the interior acoustics as well as sound emissions to the environment. The facility opened in 2008 and Valcoustics was on hand for the inaugural concert by the Tragically Hip to perform acoustical testing within the facility and to measure sound emissions to the exterior. The facility has been named the Canadian Venue of the Year four of the last five years by the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards.
