Noise and Vibration Control

Noise and vibration at home and in the workplace can affect people's health and well-being as well as sensitive processes and equipment. Noise emissions eminating from industrial facilities, road, rail and air transportation, can contaminate the surrounding environment and adversely impact neighbouring development. Noise and vibration from major buildings service equipment within or on buildings, such as air handling units, fans, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, transformers, etc. can negatively impact the occupants and interfere with normal functioning.

Valcoustics provides professional services for mitigating environmental noise and vibration, whether for new sources such as new or expanded roadways or industries, or for new sensitive development within the influence area of existing sources of noise and/or vibration. For architectural projects of all types, we provide acoustical engineering services to address noise and vibraton control and sound isolation of mechanical and electrical spaces.

State of the art equipment is used to measure and analyze sound and vibration, both indoors and outdoors for assessment and design purposes.
