This 300-bed, 85,000 m2 (914,000 ft2) trauma facility includes two 5-story nursing unit wings with a mix of private, two-bed, and four-bed rooms, extensive critical care services, an emergency department, a surgical suite with 18 operating theaters and recovery rooms, a rooftop helipad, and facilities for diagnostic imaging, endoscopy, lab functions, and an outpatient clinic. VCL provided design input for sound isolation, noise and vibration control and interior acoustics.
